Lake Placid Man Charged With DWI

A Lake Placid man is now facing a slew of charges in what began as a simple backing unsafely and damaging property incident. Sun Community News reports
Lake Placid Police say that on July 11, at about 9:03 a.m., Thomas Sharlow, 42, was backing up unsafely and caused damage to some property. After a brief investigation reportedly determined Sharlow had been driving under the influence of alcohol, he was arrested and charged with DWI. He was processed and released on his own recognizance with appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Lake Placid Court.
