Long Lake is beginning to clean up from severe flooding that washed out streets, filled homes with water and mud, and damaged infrastructure all around. The Adirondack Daily Enteprise reports the state Department of Transportation reported that all lanes on the roads connecting the town to Blue Mountain Lake and Tupper Lake — state routes 30 and 28N — were reopened on Wednesday morning, thanks to a massive effort from state DOT Crews, Hamilton County and Long Lake highway crews and volunteers.
