Lake Placid Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Haul, Three Arrests

Three women were arrested recently when a traffic stop in Lake Placid lead to the discovery of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash in their vehicle. On July 27, Jamie E. Bombard, 25, of Bloomingdale, was allegedly driving a U-Haul truck that drew the attention of the Lake Placid Police when it didn’t stop at a stop sign on McKinley Street. A subsequent inspection reportedly uncovered more than 950 bags of heroin, 70 grams of methamphetamine, an unspecified amount of crack cocaine and prescription medications, about $1,300 in cash, and a variety of drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale.
On board with Bombard were Hillary J. Porter, 47, from Plattsburgh, and Emma C. Hanrahan, 33, from Glens Falls. All three are now facing multiple charges.
