The New York Attorney General’s Office of Special Investigation (OSI) has released its report on the fatal officer-involved shooting of a Saranac Lake man in June 2022. On Sept. 26, Attorney General Letitia James said following a thorough investigation, including review of body-worn camera footage, 911 calls, witness interviews, and evidence from the scene, OSI concluded no charges would be filed against Saranac Lake Police Department officers in the death of Joshua De’Miguel Kavota.
