State Police arrested 39 year old Philip A. Lauzon of Lake Placid, NY for menacing. On September 1, 2023, around 1:29 p.m., Troopers responded to Cooper Way in the town of North Elba for a domestic dispute. An investigation determined Lauzon and the victim were involved in verbal argument regarding the victim moving out. Lauzon became more upset, opened one of the victims packed boxes, took out a knife, and made threatening remarks towards the victim. Lauzon later put the knife down and left the residence. He showed back up later and was arrested by police.
