Local Emergency Management Agencies Receive Federal Funding For Disaster Readiness

Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced $7.4 million in federal funding was awarded to local emergency management agencies in New York State to support planning and operational readiness for disaster response.
The Emergency Management Performance Grant assists local efforts to prepare for disasters, from development and implementation of training and exercises, to bolstering emergency response resources at the county level. The funding will bring $33,107 to Clinton County and $18,159 to Essex County.
