A Saranac Lake man was arrested Sept. 22 after he allegedly caused a ruckus at a restaurant Sept. 2, prompting his removal by staff and patrons. Staff and other patrons removed Matthew J. Pilawa, 35, from the premises, but he allegedly returned and threw a rock through one of its windows, shattering glass while the restaurant was open and customers were inside.
On Sept. 22, Pilawa turned himself in.
