The Tupper Lake town budget proposed this year, if adopted, will be over the state tax cap and include a 8.2% increase in spending. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, a public hearing on the town’s spending plan for the upcoming year will be held on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. at the town hall before the board’s regularly scheduled meeting. The board could vote on the budget that night, but probably won’t if they want to make more changes.
