The Lake Placid Hall of Fame held its 40th annual induction event Saturday in order to introduce three new members — Sally Warner, Russell Banks and Richard Armando Persico. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, nominees are chosen for significant contributions to the region in the fields of sports, the arts, historical heritage or civic leadership.
