Late last week, a guide and a client reeled in a nearly 9-pound salmon from Lake Colby while ice fishing. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the pair were fishing last Thursday when the hit came. The salmon took 15 minutes to reel in. The estimated length was 36 to 38 inches and the fish was likely five years old.
