Authorities are investigating an inmate death at Franklin County Jail. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise,
Franklin County Sheriff Jay D. Cook confirmed a death had occurred at the county facility and said there is an ongoing investigation into the inmate’s death. Cook said a 32-year-old woman was found unresponsive in her bed during the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 7, at the Franklin County Jail in Malone.
