Police say a domestic-related incident has left a Lake Placid woman facing charges. Sun Community News reports
Lake Placid Village Police were contacted about the incident Dec. 31, ultimately arresting Whitney A. Casey, 43, on charges of aggravated criminal contempt, third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing. Casey was arraigned in North Elba Town Court and released after posting required bail. She will reappear in court at a later date. No further details were released.
