Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club officials say there are around $5,400 worth of tagged fish swimming around in Lake Colby right now. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, on Tuesday, fish culturists with the state Department of Environmental Conservation’s Adirondack Fish Hatchery stocked the lake with 20 Atlantic salmon, brown trout and rainbow trout ranging from 2 to 6 years old and including one worth $800 for the club’s 40th Colby Classic Ice Fishing Derby this weekend.
