Lake Placid firefighters knocked down a fire at a home on Grandview Avenue Sunday afternoon. Firefighters say no one was injured in the fire, but the house has significant damage. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the call came in at 60 Grandview Ave. with three trucks and 23 members at 12:47 p.m. Sunday. The residents were not inside at the time. The search is on for a cause.
