31 year old Ella R. Hanrahan of Lake Placid is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after troopers were dispatched to Stewarts, located on Bloomingdale Ave, in the village of Saranac Lake for a wanted female. An investigation determined Hanrahan had active warrants with the Lake Placid Village Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriffs Department. The departments were informed the Troopers were in contact with Hanrahan and placed her in custody.
