The Saranac Lake Irish Gaelic Organization (SLIGO) is now accepting grand marshal nominations for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will take place on Saturday, March 16. Nominations should be submitted through SLIGO’s Facebook page by 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19. Later this month, all the parade’s past grand marshals will meet at an undisclosed location to review nominations and select the 2024 grand marshal by consensus or, failing that, a vote.
