A cabin on Saranac Avenue in Lake Placid burned down in the early morning Thursday, displacing its residents. Firefighters say the building is a total loss. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the call came in at about 3:18am for a structure fire at 1970 Saranac Ave. When firefighters arrived, they found the small cabin was fully engulfed in flames. The scene was clear at 7:29 a.m. No injuries, no word on a cause.
