The Lake Placid Central School District Board of Education voted Tuesday to approve a girls flag football team, more sports mergers and a calendar for the next school year. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the board also responded to recent calls for a public-private sports merger for day students at Northwood School and revisited a discussion surrounding school bus purchases.
