Lake Placid native and award-winning photojournalist Kay Jones will be among four inductees into the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Hall of Fame, March 23 at Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Sun Community News reports the ceremony, slated for the Mountain Lodge at 5:30 p.m., will be held in conjunction with the BMW IBSF World Cup finals in Lake Placid. Season-long champions in all sliding disciplines will be crowned on the demanding mile-long chute March 22-24.
