The Adirondack Center for Writing (ACW) is hosting a free dialogue writing workshop, Devising Dialogue: Writing from Plays with LJ Schwartau, on April 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at ACW (15 Broadway, Saranac Lake). The event is open to the public and will include writing exercises to create dialogue, set scenes and write stage directions. With prompts, participants will create short solo monologues and the group will also devise scenes collaboratively based on a short play reading.
