A 30-year-old Lake Placid man was arrested March 28 and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, and second-degree aggravated harassment. Police went to a home on Cottonwood Way in North Elba to investigate the report of a man violating an order of protection. That’s where they found Jonathan M. Sears, who allegedly continued to harass and insult his victim via email. Sears was remanded to Essex County Jail in lieu of $25,00 cash bail.
