North Country Community College will host an event on the Saranac Lake campus Thursday at 1:30 to mark the success of the new Direct Support Professional Microcredential program. The program creates a career path and further professionalizes staff to help support people with developmental disabilities, part of an effort to expand the direct support professional workforce across New York.
