The Town of Wilmington is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss a long-debated amendment to limit the number of short-term rental permits to 150, about 10 more than there are now. Sun Community News reports Wilmington has 697 single-family and seasonal dwellings, so 150 permits would be 21.5 percent of the total number of buildings allowed to offer short-term rentals.
