A primary care health center operated by Hudson Headwaters Health Network is set to open Monday in the former Lake Placid Health and Medical Fitness Center emergency room. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the health center comes almost a year after the ER closed on Aug. 20, 2023.
