FCI Ray Brook was on modified lockdown last week after an inmate assaulted a staff member. According to the union representing FCI Ray Brook’s corrections officers, the officer was not injured in what union Vice President Jason Brannen described as an emotion-driven attack on July 17. The lockdown ended on Monday. No weapons were involved and officials call it an “isolated incident.
