Lake Placid Police arrested 26-year-old Maxwell C. Menkel June 29 and charged him with third-degree criminal mischief. They allege the Lake Placid resident caused damages to someone’s property, but did not elaborate. Following arraignment in Lake Placid Village Court he was released on his own recognizance with a ticket returnable to that court at a later date.
