Pushback Continues On Saranac Lake Emergency Services Complex Project

Some residents in Saranac Lake continue to oppose plans for a new emergency services complex, saying the village should slow down and reevaluate its planning process. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the village board again discussed the project — which aims to bring together the Saranac Lake police, volunteer fire and volunteer rescue squad departments into one unified complex at the site of the former St. Pius X High School — at its Monday meeting.
