The first-ever golf tournament poker scramble at the Tupper Lake Golf Club will take place on Friday, Aug. 16 at 4 p.m. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports proceeds from the event will directly benefit Homeward Bound of the Adirondacks, helping to fund vital programs and services for veterans in the region. These include healing retreats, medical transportation and crisis outreach. The event will also benefit the Tupper Lake Rotary Club.
