On Sept. 1, Saranac Lake will say farewell to summer with a free day-long event focused on live music and dance from nine different performers, bands, and interactive projections. Sun Community News reports Northern Current, a Community Music Festival has become a favorite local tradition. It is held every year on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend at Riverside Park in downtown Saranac Lake, corner of River Street and Main.
