Registration is open for the 28th Annual Adirondack Marathon, Sunday, Sept. 22, in Schroon Lake. Runners who register before Sept. 14 save $10 on the entry fee. Sun Community News reports all proceeds from this event are directed toward covering costs associated with its execution and funding scholarships for local high school students.
