New York’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services will offer a free emergency preparation class — Citizen Preparedness Corps training — here this October, which is open to the public. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the class is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and is expected to last for about two hours. The class is being held at the Tupper Lake Emergency Services Department at 21 Santa Clara Ave.
