Following an investigation into an altercation that took place in Lake Placid Thursday evening, Sept. 19, Lake Placid Police arrested Lake Placid resident Bernice M. Duquette, 62, and charged her with felony third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment, a violation. Sun Community News reports authorities say Duquette hit her victim in the face with a “bundle of sticks,” damaging the woman’s glasses.
