A dream of bringing a whitewater paddling park back to the Saranac River is seeing movement again, after years of being held up by the coronavirus pandemic, state bureaucracy, money and storms. An open house on the topic is happening rom 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 7 in the Cantwell Room of the Saranac Lake Free Library.
