Rep. Elise Stefanik has co-sponsored legislation to award Congressional Gold Medals to the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. The proposed legislation calls for three medals to be displayed at the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the Hockey Hall of Fame, and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum.
