Friends and family and the Wilmington community have quickly rallied behind the Merit and Sarah Peck family after they suffered a devasting house fire Oct. 20. Though the family of five all escaped, their home and everything in it was a total loss. Sun Community News reports family member Brinn Peck has started a GoFundMe page but, the family still needs donations of food, clothing, and items for the family’s dogs. Local restaurant Twisted Raven will cater a fundraising dinner this upcoming Friday.
