The Lake Placid Central School District is in the process of selling the property the Shipman Youth Center is built on to be in compliance with state law. However, LPCSD Superintendent Tim Seymour assures the public the district’s partnership with the youth center will continue. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports on Tuesday, the school board unanimously approved a resolution to allow the district to sell the property.
