The Shipman Youth Center board passed a resolution Wednesday to accept Lake Placid Central School District’s $50,000 bid to purchase the land that the youth center is built on. Board members say this move will secure the future of the youth center and expand possibilities for community events and collaboration.According to the Adirondack Dailoy Enteprise, the district passed a resolution allowing Superintendent Tim Seymour to sell the land at a school board meeting earlier this month.
