At its regular meeting on June 17, the Keene Central School Board of Education unanimously appointed Cynthia Ford-Johnston as Interim Superintendent of Schools, effective Aug. 1. This appointment marks a homecoming for Ford-Johnston, a respected educational leader with deep ties to both the school and the greater Adirondack community. , Ford-Johnston previously served as superintendent of Keene Central School for 16 years.
