The Lake Placid Marathon and Half is returning here this weekend for its 20th running. The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports so far, more than 1,200 people are signed up for the event, which will span across three different races — the full (26.2 miles) and half (13.1 miles) marathons and the 10-kilometer race.
