Primary elections in Essex County are taking place today, with contested races for a number of town seats in Wilmington, Willsboro, Elizabethtown, Ticonderoga and North Hudson. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports there are six Republican primary elections in Essex County — for Wilmington’s highway superintendent, Willsboro’s supervisor, Elizabethtown’s town clerk/tax collector, North Hudson’s town council member and town justice and Ticonderoga’s town justice.
