Wildfire Smoke Moving Into Tri Lakes Region

Smoke from wildfires burning in central and western Canada began moving into the skies over the Tri-Lakes region last night and is expected to increase throughout today before clearing out of the area later Wednesday.
According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, unlike some of the more potent local smoke events in 2023, this round is expected to mostly remain in the mid- and upper-levels of the atmosphere and away from ground-level, mitigating impacts on air quality.
