The village of Saranac Lake has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 37% since 2017. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, now, its Climate Smart Communities task force has crafted a plan to reduce emissions even further to meet goals set for 2030 and 2050, and will be presenting the plan to the public soon.
