FIS Ski Jumping World Cup In Lake Placid Canceled

The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, which was scheduled for mid-December in Lake Placid, has been canceled and relocated, due to needed repairs to the Olympic Jumping Complex’s HS128 observation deck. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the move comes following a recent inspection from FIS, which determined the need for repairs on the steel supports for the observation deck at the state Olympic Regional Development Authority site.
