The Adirondack Mountain Club is seeking $2.85 million for its Cascade Welcome Center, a popular informational stop and winter cross-country skiing destination on Route 73 between Keene and Lake Placid. The Adirondack Explorer reports ADK closed the center’s doors at the end of August, calling it a temporary shuttering at that time.
