The Lake Placid Central School District is slated to hold a public hearing at its district office at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, regarding two proposed uses of its repair reserve fund. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the district is looking to replace four speakers and the underlying audio system in the high school gym for $22,219, and apply top dressing to several areas at the Jim Kordziel Athletic Fields for $15,372. The repair reserve fund’s creation was approved by district voters in 2022.
