A Malone man who had been missing since Sept. 18 was found dead near a remote trail in Brighton on Saturday, after a month of searching from numerous law enforcement agencies. 90 year old John “Jack” D. Miller was reported missing on Sept. 18 after he drove away from his home in Malone. On Saturday, two hunters were traveling on an ATV trail on the first day of the muzzleloader deer hunting season when they saw a Subaru Forester matching the description of Miller’s vehicle. They contacted New York State Police, troopers searched the area and found Miller deceased.
