Two people have been arrested following a coordinated multi-agency investigation that led to the recovery of $5,000 worth of stolen tools, drugs and $13,000 in cash. Authorities this week executed a search warrant at 225 Lake Street in the Village of Saranac Lake. Wade A. Cayea, 45, of Saranac Lake, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and other counts, while 44 year old Melissa R. Lane, of Saranac Lake, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
