Adirondack Council Releases 44th Annual State of the Park Report

The Adirondack Council has released its 44th annual State of the Park Report, highlighting the recent successes, challenges, and future goals for protecting the Adirondack Park.The report outlines past and current initiatives, such as: Working to reduce the use of chemical herbicides in Adirondack lakes following reports of lingering residues.
-Advocating for continued air-quality monitoring in response to federal cutbacks and policies that threaten the health of people and wildlife alike.
-Supporting the restoration of natural flows and fisheries to Adirondack rivers through better management of hydro-power facilities and removal of obsolete dams.
