Tupper Lake Man Charged With Allegedly Having Homemade Bomb In Home

New York State Police arrested a Tupper Lake man after they found a homemade bomb at his home on Tuesday.
Troopers arrested Matthew Latour, 27, at his Ivy Terrace home after they learned that he had constructed an improvised explosive device, or IED. Latour was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. The New York State Police Bomb Squad was able to secure the device and render it safe.
Latour was processed and appeared before a judge in the Village of Tupper Lake Court. He was later released.
