Adirondack Roots, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families put down roots and stay in the North Country, has launched a nationwide search for a new executive director. According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the process is being led by DRiWaterstone, a Virginia-based company that specializes in executive searches for nonprofit organizations. The new executive director will replace Megan Murphy, who left the organization in September. Caitlin Wargo, Adirondack Roots’ associate director, has served as the organization’s interim executive director since then.
